We are half way through 2016, the shortest day of the year has passed but the temperature is still to drop just a little bit further. The days are shorter reducing day light hours for flying. If you have already started your flight training then it is likely you are forced to stay on the ground watching the clouds and rain pass overhead. If this is you then it is an opportune time to get into those books and do some study.
However for some winter flying means Night Flying. Yay! I absolutely love flying at night VFR over the city. If you haven’t tried this then I would suggest you talk to an instructor about gaining your night rating.
The team at A Flying Start has been in full swing in an attempt to release our modules by Winter this year. Putting words to paper has not been easy and we are wondering where all the time went? Suddenly we find July sneaking up on us but there is still a lot of work to be done. We are working to release by the end of winter this year and yes the freebie is still on offer. If you haven’t signed up for your freebie access to our first module then scroll to the bottom of this page right now and subscribe.
To be continued . . . fly safely out there
